URL and mobile app blocker

Freedom.to is an essential tool for business and productivity. It helps you focus on your task by blocking apps and websites and notifications you find distracting. You can dictate the number of hours or minutes they are blocked. The locked mode overrides the session, which stops you from unblocking the website. A single Freedom account allows you to block web browsers, websites, and applications across all devices. It does this through its own virtual private network or VPN. You can download Freedom on your desktop and mobile phone.

Stay on track

Freedom.to allows you to create a blocklist through its filters. Category Filters block URLs and apps related to video streaming, sports, social media, email, news, shopping, games, adult websites, and gambling platforms. To block specific platforms such as Amazon, Facebook, Gmail, Netflix, you can find it on the premade filters.

You can also add URLs if they are not listed on the website. Once you have all your sites and apps, you can set up the block session or the time in which you can access them. There are three block sessions: Start now, Start later, or create a Recurring Session. With Freedom, you can focus on your highest priority and stay productive.

The block sessions let you know the number of minutes and hours you have until you are able to view content or use a particular service. It is completely safe to use as it cannot retrieve your personal information or web activity. Freedom.to is suitable for users that want to avoid distractions or cut off distracting websites.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
